This is a general overview of my process. Sketch -> Refine -> Final.

It honestly changes a lot depending on the what the task is and what will get the job done the fastest.

This was work done for Digital Extremes’ WarFrame. The task was to come up with narrative ideas for what the Corpus faction would be doing in space. I focused on mining for resources or harvesting energy from objects in space.

I always try and provide callouts like this to help get the idea understood before going into the final painting.

Final painting

Another painting for Warframe describing the HUB space for the new faction. It was supposed to feel like a very old tomb.

A lot of WarFrame is implied narrative wrapped around something known but with a twist. This is another explanation callout sheet to help get the idea understood.

I don’t really do line drawings anymore. It’s all 3d now.
